The Handy GPS app is an essential tool for outdoor enthusiasts looking to enhance their navigation capabilities during adventures. Tailored for activities such as hiking, bushwalking, mountain biking, kayaking, and trail riding, this app enables users to seamlessly work with UTM or lat/lon coordinates.

<li>Export waypoints and tracklogs to KML files for viewing in Google Earth or GPX files.</li>
<li>Export waypoints to a CSV text file.</li>
<li>Import KML or GPX files directly into the app.</li>
<li>Email your current location to a friend.</li>
<li>Utilize an odometer to monitor distance traveled.</li>
<li>Incorporate a magnetic compass for additional orientation assistance.</li>
<li>Access elevation profiles during your expeditions.</li>
<li>Compute sunrise and sunset times for effective trip planning.</li>
<li>Supports both metric and US/imperial units.</li>
<li>Offers datums compatibility with WGS84, GDA94, AGD66, and AGD84 (WGS84 recommended for NAD83).</li>
<li>Allows input of parameters for custom datums (e.g., ED50, SAD69, OSGB36, GDA2020) and supports affine parameters for local grid systems.</li>
<li>Show your location as a normal grid ref, MGRS grid ref (WGS84 datum only), or UK Ordinance Survey (OS) grid ref.</li>
<li>Download offline map tiles for uninterrupted navigation in areas with no cellular coverage.</li>
<li>Includes an optional walk timer function.</li>
<li>Email your current waypoints and tracklogs as KML files directly from the app.</li>
<li>Capture photos from within the app to document your journey effectively.</li>
</ul>
